Check-In/Check-Out

You may check-in at the Campground Office starting at 2:00 pm and until 8:00pm. Early arrival without prior approval may result in unnecessary waiting. At check in you will receive window tags for every registered vehicle at your site. You must visibly display the vehicle tag for the entire duration of your stay.

Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Your site must be vacated and free of garbage, litter, and debris by this time, unless prior approval has been given. After 12:00 p.m., $10.00/hour will be charged to the credit card on file if you have not vacated the site or received prior approval for late checkout.

Visitors

Visitors will be allowed at the rate of $3.00/person or $5.00/car load, per day. Visitor Passes and Parking Permits must be issued to all visitors. Visitors must sign in upon entry, and sign out by 10:00 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and by 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Maximum of 4 visitors allowed per site. Visitors may not bring pets.

Vehicles

Maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. Additional parking is available near the Campground Office. All vehicles must display Camper or Visitor Parking Pass at all times.

Speed Limit / ONE WAY

Observe Speed LIMIT and one way signs posted on grounds for all vehicles.

Pets

Well-behaved pets are allowed on all sites. All pets must have proof of a current rabies vaccine. Maximum of 2 pets per site. Pets must be kept leashed, and kept quiet during the night. Pets are strictly prohibited in all campsite buildings. You are required to dispose of your pet’s waste immediately and appropriately. Visitors may not bring pets.

Quiet Time

Quiet Time is from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Please be considerate of other campers. No loud noise, music, or pets during this time. If you are asked to reduce your noise level more than once, you will be asked to leave.

Children

All campers under age 15 are required to be at their campsites by dusk. All campers under age 15 must wear a safety helmet while riding bicycles in the campground. Children must be supervised, and are the responsibility of their parents.

Conduct

Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, loud music, and/or obscene language will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave.

Ground Fires & Fire Wood

Ground fires are to be confined to the provided fire rings. All fires must be attended at all times, and must be fully extinguished by midnight. Campers may not bring their own firewood. Firewood is available for purchase at the main office.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings located on our property, in accordance with New York State Law. Cigarette butts must be discarded properly and removed from all campsites prior to departure.

Washing of Vehicles and Campers

No washing any vehicles, campers, or camping equipment on campground property.

Bath House

Bath house is open 24 hours a day, except during posted cleaning times. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. No pets are allowed in the bath house.

Arcade

Arcade is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult in the Arcade.

Swimming

Swimming hours are 12 – 6pm daily. There is NO lifeguard supervision. Minimum of 2 adults (18+) must be present, with 1 adult on the beach at all times- NEVER SWIM ALONE! All children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their safety and behavior. All adults must read and sign a pamphlet and obtain wristbands for their party – must be worn by everyone.

Bar & Grill

There will be no outside alcohol permitted inside the Bar & Grill. Violators will be asked to leave the grounds.

Cleaning, Garbage, Litter & Pet Waste

All garbage, litter, pet waste, or other disposable items must be disposed of in the dumpsters located near the Bar & Grill. There is absolutely NO dumping of grey/black water outside of the dump station.

Gates/Gate Key Cards

There are 2 gates as part of our automatic arm gate system. Each camping site will be issued a maximum of 2 key cards for use at the entry gate. For use by the registered camper’s vehicles ONLY. Violators of this policy will be asked to vacate their site immediately. Return the key card to the office or drop box on site – there will be a $25 per card fee to the credit card on file if damaged, lost/stolen or not returned.

Firearms and Fireworks

Firearms of any kind and fireworks of any kind are NOT PERMITTED under any circumstances.

Fishing and Water Activities

Fishing is permitted in the small pond only, and only “catch and release”. No fishing is permitted in the large pond. Barbless hooks only. No fishing or other water activities after dark.

No refunds will be given due to poor weather.

We reserve the right to evict without prior notice anyone who fails to observe these rules, or anyone who is creating a disturbance of any kind. No rental fees will be refunded in the case an eviction is required. Camping has inherent risks associated with outside activities. Scenic View Campground, its owners, and employees are not responsible for any injuries or damages occurring as part of the inherent risks of any camping environment. All rules are subject to change at the manager’s discretion.
